UFC Fight Night 182 Santos v.s. Teixeira: Coby’s Plays

Fight night is back tonight with a title contender eliminating main event between Thiago Santos and Glover Teixiera.

It would make a ton of sense for the winner of this bout to get a shot at the winner of Adesanya v.s. Blachowitz in the mid-back end of next year.

Also on this card, an awesome middleweight bout between Brendan Allen and Ian Heinisch, a bantamweight war between Raoni Barcelos and Khalid Taha, and a heavyweight brawl between Tanner Boser and, the former champ, Andrei Arlovski.

This card is stacked with quality fighters. Some I haven’t named, Darren Elkins, Claudia Gadelha, and Giga Chikadze. The list goes on to this isn’t a card in which you can miss the prelims.

As far as the gambling side there are some sizeable favorites on this card. Dogs could make some good money if they can pull it off.

On the last two cards, I’m 19-3-1 on full card plays so check those out on my Twitter @thiskid_coby5. If you buy @smoke_sports1 merch and show me I will send u my favorite parlay.

  1. Brendan Allen -120

This is actually a really good fight, however, I expected Allen to be a bigger favorite than this. Allen has an advantage in the grappling department by a solid margin in my opinion and that’s what his path to victory will be. I expect him to test out Heinisch and feel his power then mix in the wrestling. All in all, no pun intended, I love this line at -120 and I’ll take a shot at him +250 by decision.

  1. Bevon Lewis -125

The line on Lewis is going up and only up. He fights Trevon Giles. In Giles’ last bout he fought James Krause, who took the fight on a day's notice and won a controversial decision. As impressive as James Krause is Giles didn’t look as good as anticipated. Lewis will grind into the late rounds as well, considering he’s been to the third in every one of his UFC fights. Lewis has had a tough intro to the UFC fighting two high-level veterans, one being a contender, but got back on track and will look to start his run. Lewis by Dec is +180 which is solid because the o2.5 is -225.

Honorable mentions: Chikadze by TKO/KO -155
