Fight night returns tonight in the fight capital of Las Vegas, as the heavy hitting Augusto Sakai takes a step up in competition to face future UFC Hall-of-Famer, Alistair Overeem.
Some other fights that should fire you up are Alonzo Meinfield vs Ovince St. Preux, Alexander Romanov vs Marcos Rogerio De Lima and last but absolutely not least Michel Pereira vs Zelim Imadaev. Pereira vs Imadaev is going to be an insane fight.
Unfortunatley, there are only nine fights on this card however, the biggest favorite on this card is -240 and there are only two favorites over the -200 mark. There is tons of money to be made on this card.
As for me in the last four articles posted I’m 9-3. Also, I went 9-1 on my full card picks last week, you can find my full card picks and plays on twitter @thiskid_coby5. Follow @smoke_sports1 for his locks and plays.
1. Alistair Overeem -170
I’ve been trying to stay away from posting any line higher than the -150 range, but this line is solid. There is literally only one way Alistair loses this fight and its by KO. The Reem is just better everywhere. Keys to victory for Alistair are to keep his distance and use his kicks. Staying out of range is key for the Reem to avoid Sakai’s overhand. Sakai to me hasn’t been all that impressive and especially because his gas tank is not ready for five rounds. I love Overeem ITD +110, if you can get that lock that shit in.
2. Alexander Romanov -150
The undefeated Romanov is making his long awaited UFC debut and gets a damn good test to start in De Lima. De Lima is a HEAVY puncher seeking his second win this year and fourth since 2015. Romanov has a far superior wrestling game and uses his submissions way more efficiently. If Romanov makes this a grappling battle I believe he wins with ease. He isn’t a bad striker, but why not fight to your strength and opponents weakness. I like Romanov ITD -120, but two other props I like are Romanov by SUB +380 and Romanov by KO/TKO +175. If you have a Romanov by Finish prop and its plus money, take it.
Honorable Mentions: Viviane Araujo -175, Ovince St. Preux +105
