Happy fight night. Tonight we have a solid card headlined by Light Heavyweight contender Alexsander Rakic and former title challenger Anthony Smith.
This card also includes the return of Alexa Grasso, Ricardo Lamas, and Zack Cummings as well as a banger of a co-main event between Neil Magny and Robbie Lawler.
Out of 10 fights on the card, just three have a favorite under -200. It’s safe to say the dog bets will be sweet tonight. There is some real value on fighters like Robbie Lawler at +200 and Hannah Cifers at +250.
I’m 7-2 in the last three articles posted, also check my full card picks and plays on twitter @thiskid_coby5. Follow @smoke_sports1 for his locks as well.
1. Zak Cummings +105
Cummings is a savvy veteran. He’s been in the UFC since 2013 and is 8-4 in the promotion. In this fight I believe Cummings is just going to make Di Chrico work, due to the severe discrepancy in the cardio department. Di Chrico has been in the UFC since 2016 and is 3-4 with all three victories coming against opponents who were released by the UFC or retired after that fight. The experience and technique advantage goes to Cummings, I feel he will outsmart Di Chrico and play to his own strengths. I don’t think this ends before it gets to the judges, but I think Cummings by submission +550 is a fun shot in the dark.
2. Ricardo Lamas wins ITD -110
Lamas is considerably better than his opponent. He is 16 fight UFC veteran, who has fought some of the best ever at his weight class. He takes on Bill Algeo who is making his UFC debut after a decision victory in a regional show on August 13th, which is two weeks ago if you’re counting. The toughest fight he’s had was a loss over a year ago on Dana White’s Contender Series to a guy not even in the UFC. This just a matter of Lamas fighting smart and not getting KO’d. I like Lamas by Sub also however, this is just a way safer line. I fucking love this line.
Honorable Mention: Magny by Decision -140
