What We Know:
The Temple Owls (1-4, 1-4) take on the UCF Knights (4-2, 3-2), Saturday at 7:30 PM in the Bounce House.
It’s been a rough start for the Owls having lost their last three straight games versus SMU, Tulane, and Memphis. On the other hand, UCF has started this season 4-2. It hasn’t been the start they were looking for, but the Knights are coming off back to back wins against Houston and Tulane.
The Owls biggest weakness is their defense, allowing 31+ points in every single game played this season. With the Knights having one of the most explosive offenses in the nation, this has the potential to get ugly early.
UCF quarterback Dillon Gabriel has been lights out in every game this season. Last week Gabriel put up 328 yards with two touchdowns against the Cougars. Jaylon Robinson had 107 yards receiving on five catches while Otis Anderson and Greg McCrae combined for over 270+ yards and two touchdowns.
