Pacers vs Warriors Preview. Malcolm Brogdon's Breakout Season??
The 6-4 Indiana Pacers will face off against the 6-4 Golden State Warriors Tuesday night in a very important game for both teams. The Pacers have suffered early season injuries with TJ Warren requiring foot surgery last week and will be out indefinitely. Oladipo will be a game time decision just due to rest. Domantas Sabonis has been phenomenal this season averaging 22 points 6 assists and 12.4 rebounds per game to start off the year. With Warren out and Oladipo taking it careful, coming back from last year's injury, Indiana needs someone to step up and take their team to the next level in the East. Malcolm Brogdon has been that guy averaging 23.5 points 1.7 steals 4.3 rebounds 7.4 assists and only 1.7 turnovers a game. Having an insane 4.4 assist to turnover ratio through the teams first ten games, Brogdon can help carry this team far. There will be one obstacle in the way of the Pacers tonight and that will be Golden State point guard Stephen Curry who is averaging a ridiculous 29 points per game this season good for third highest in the league. Curry has not had much help with Wiggins and Oubre starting off historically awful from behind the three point line. The second overall pick, James Wiseman, has been solid to start his young career and Draymond Green is back playing his seventh game tonight coming back from a foot injury. I am not worried about Curry but I am skeptical of his supporting cast if he does not put up huge numbers it will be hard for them to tally wins. I am taking the Pacers +3 here, put your lunch money on it, put the house on it, take out a car loan and give it to your bookie.
