The MLB offseason has been moving pretty slowly, but the hot stove is turned ALL the way up today. We saw one team showing they were all in for a championship in 2021. A team that wants to win now and not worry about what the cost is, they’re going for glory THIS season!
The Houston Astros, a team that found itself in Game 7 of the ALCS last year, has agreed to a contract with RHP Rhyne Stanek for one year at just north of $1 million.
Stanek has a 4.00 career ERA but is looking to bounce back after a rough season out of the pen for the Miami Marlins. Houston may not be done making moves, but adding g a piece to their bullpen is a good start on making a deep run in 2021.
Fransisco Lindor and Carlos Carrasco were also traded to the Mets.
