Mavs vs Nuggets Preview. Is Jokic the MVP Front-runner?

The 3-4 Dallas Mavericks head into town to play the 3-4 Denver Nuggets tonight. Both teams have played well as of the beginning of the season but look to get a statement win here. Luka has been doing his thing as usual leading Dallas in all the major statistical categories, averaging 25.8 points 9 rebounds 7.2 assists. A lot of weight has fallen on his shoulders, starting the season without Porzingis who looks to be about a week away from returning. Tim Hardaway Jr. has been instrumental for the Mavs success this season averaging 17 points per game as the second scoring option, dropping 30 points in a statement win against the Rockets on Monday. The Joker has been on a tear this season also leading his team in every major statistical category averaging 24.1 points 11.7 rebounds and 11.9 assists through the teams first 7 games. Making him the obvious front-runner for MVP so far this season. Jokic is probably the best passing big man of all-time and trying to prove he can lead a team to the finals. Jamal Murray is proving that his bubble performance was for real, carrying his success into the 2021 NBA season averaging a career high 22.2 points. The Mavs have no one to guard Jokic tonight, take the Nuggets -2.5 all day long. If your book has a Jokic points+rebounds+assists total take the over on that if you enjoy not being broke.
