Kid Cudi is here to Save 2020

It has been over a decade since Kid Cudi blessed our ears with Man on The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager, the second of the celebrated Man on The Moon trilogy. Fast forward to tonight, and Cudi is unleashing Man on The Moon III: The Chosen.

The past ten years have been a whirlwind for the Cleveland rapper and included a rehab center stay as he tried to get his life back together. With Man on the Moon III dropping at midnight, it is fair to say that Kid Cudi is BACK.

Kid Cudi has already impressed in 2020, dropping hit songs such as Leader of the Delinquents, The Scotts with Travis Scott, and The Adventures of Moon Man and Slim with Eminem, but now it is finally time to get a full album of brand new Cudi tunes.

Cudi teased his fans about an album called “Enter Galactic” (a reference to a song on the original Man on The Moon tape) that will be accompanied by an animated Netflix show of the same title, but that is coming in 2021. What people didn’t realize is that Cudder had plans to end 2020 on a high note as well.

The tracklist includes features from Skepta, the late Pop Smoke, Phoebe Bridgers, and fellow Ohio rapper, Trippie Redd. But for the biggest Cudi fans, the most intriguing song title has to be Solo Solo, pt. III. Solo Dolo was originally on the first MOTM album, and Solo Dolo, pt.2 (featuring Kendrick Lamar) appeared on Indicud, one of the albums Cudi has released since MOTM2.

If you start the original Man on the Moon deluxe album tonight at 9:38 EST and Man on the Moon II right after, you will get to Man on the Moon III as it drops at midnight.

Enjoy your listen!
