As fight night is upon us once, we are given another chance to beat the book.
Although my best bets were rough last week, you win some and you lose some, but we are beyond back tonight.
The strength of this fight card is considerably inferior to majority of the other UFC cards put on, but there for sure is some hidden gems here.
Some fights you should look out for in case of fireworks tonight are Andre Fili vs Charles Jourdain, Marvin Vettori vs Karl Roberson and Jordan Espinosa vs Mark De La Rosa.
By no means will this card be as close to as electric as UFC 250 last weekend, however there’s been worse events. Also, five fighters missing weight and/or pulling out of the fight literally last minute didn’t help the cards cause either.
However, when there is money to be made that where you will find us.

Marvin Vettori -230
The fact that Vettori isn’t -500 is a gift. Yes, the value here might not be the best, but Vettori is for sure my lock of the night. Vettori was supposed to fight Karl Roberson twice this year, including tonight. Roberson missed weight for the bout in April and was forced to pull out. Yesterday, Roberson failed to make weight again, this time by four and a half pounds. This fight has a ton of animosity; these two guys clearly don’t like each other. Vettori is the better overall fighter and if both these guys survive to slugfest early, I think Vettori milks Roberson’s gas tank and drags out the decision win. Vettori is 4-2-1 in his four year-long UFC tenure, with both of his losses coming by decision; one being a split decision loss to current middleweight champ Israel Adesanya. Karl Roberson is 4-2 in the UFC however, his two losses are first round submissions. I think there is little to no chance Vettori wins by submission, but he will get the job done somehow someway. Also, I believe there is absolutely no chance Karl Roberson fights at middleweight again.
Parlay: Fili/Ivy/Dvalishvili +140
This parlay consists of Andre Fili, Anthony Ivy and Merab Dvalishvili. Dvalishvili is -855 that should be a gimmie. Fili and Ivy do have some work to do. Fili takes on big time Canadian prospect Charles Jourdain. This fight should be a war on the feet, but Fili has the advantage in the wrestling. As much as I’d love to see a barn burner of a brawl between these two, I believe if Fili uses his wrestling he wins the fight with ease. It is a similar task at hand for Anthony Ivy, who makes his UFC debut Christian Aguilera. Aguliera, who also makes his debut tonight, is said to have a limited gas tank baring that majority of his wins come in the first round. For Ivy the game plan has to be similar to Fili’s, don’t get hit in the first round and use your wrestling. All in all, if Ivy survives the first round I think he gets the job done with ease. I feel like with this parlay you get decent value with slight risk, due to the fact that you never know if emotions can get the best of fighters in their debuts. I look forward to a great night of fights and follow or faded I hope you take down your bookie.
